XL Hybrids Show Pepsi Van

Also Displays Lithium Ion Battery from Johnson Controls


Massachusetts-based XL Hybrids, which has promoted such major fleet customers as FedEx and Coca-Cola for its hybrid retrofits, and recently said its customers had logged more than a million miles of hybrid operation, showed a Chevrolet Express 2500 cargo van in Pepsi colors at ACT Expo 2014



XL Hybrids showed this Chevrolet Express 2500 cargo van in Pepsi colors at ACT Expo 2104 in Long Beach, Calif.


XL displayed the battery pack from Johnson Controls it employs in its hybrid vehicles at ACT Expo too.


XL uses a 40-kilowatt permanent magnet traction motor and 1.8-kilowatt-hour lithium ion battery pack from Johnson Controls. The arrangement is said to increase city mileage by 25%.
